South West Local Area Committee

The South West Local Area Committee, comprising councillors from Dore and Totley, Fulwood, Ecclesall, and Crookes & Crosspool Wards, empowers local communities by giving them greater control over decision-making and the delivery of council services.

This committee oversees the creation of an annual Area Committee Plan, developed with resident priorities and influencing the council's strategic plans. It works with local partners and voluntary organisations to ensure services meet community needs, monitors the delivery of these plans, and is empowered to set priorities and direct resources within its geographical area.
