The
CEO of Learn Sheffield introduced the report which provided a
background update on the Sheffield Special Educational Needs and
Disabilities (SEND) Manifesto for the Committee. It contained the
updated content to the update provided to the Sheffield Health
& Wellbeing Board in March
2025.

RESOLVED
UNANIMOUSLY: That Education, Children and Families Policy
Committee:-
 
a.   
Understand and note the case for change and the context for the
development of the Manifesto.
b.   
Agree the approach for the development of the SEND
Manifesto.
c.    
Note the progress made to date in the development of the manifesto
and the process being followed.
d.   
Agree the timeframe and next steps, noting the design and
development of the Healthy Child Development
model
