Purpose

Following approval from the Firth Park Charity
Trustees to accept a grant of £100,000 (one hundred thousand
pounds) from the FCC Environmental Community Fund to contribute to
the delivery of Firth Park Playground Improvements, this approval
was sought to approve receipt of the general funding, note that SCC
indemnifies the charitable trust from potential clawback of any
funding and note the terms of delivery.

Reasons for the decision

Accepting the?funding from FCC allows
the?Firth Park Playground Improvements project?to

while improving health and wellbeing by encouraging outdoor
