RESOLVED:

  1. To approve the transfer of the operation of SpArC Leisure Centre in Bishop’s Castle to the Shropshire Community Leisure Trust, as part of the existing leisure contract, until 31 July 2027.

To delegate responsibility to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Leader and the Portfolio Holder for Digital and Culture, for undertaking necessary due diligence and thereafter finalising negotiations and completing the transfer to the current leisure management contract with Shropshire Community Leisure Trust.
