RESOLVED:
That:
1.
Cabinet considered and approved submission of the response to the
Government’s consultation on reforms to the National Planning
Policy Framework (NPPF) and associated reforms to the planning
system, as set out in Appendix 1 to this report.
2.
Authority be given to the Executive Director of Place in
consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning and Regulatory
Services to agree any additional changes to the Council’s
response to the consultation ahead of its submission to the
Government before 24 September 2024.
