Purpose

To consider any proposals to update the Council Tax Support Hardship Scheme.

Decision

(a)  That the Council Tax Support Hardship Policy 2026-2027 attached at Appendix A to the report be approved.

(b)  That the implementation of the policy from 1 November 2026 be approved.

(c)  That delegated authority be given to the Section 151 Officer, in consultation with the Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Corporate Resources, to make minor amendments to the policy to reflect legislative, operational or administrative changes.
