Primary Responsibilities  

Strategic Environment Contract & Strategic Highways Contract Street cleaning & grounds maintenance Parks & open spaces, Trees & forestry, tree maintenance Waste & Recycling Strategy, Waste collection, disposal & recycling Car Parking Traffic Regulation Orders Footpaths (apart from regulatory functions discharged by Planning Committee) All Highway Authority functions & operations (other than non?executive matters) Delivery of UK Central infrastructure projects incl. HS2 projects Strategic Road Network (including M42) & Highways England Liaison Transport for West Midlands & West Midlands Rail Metro & Sprint co?ordination; Rail investment Active Travel.
