About

To provide overview & scrutiny of responsibilities of the Cabinet Portfolio Holders for Communities and Environment & Infrastructure To act as the “Crime & Disorder Committee” as required by the Police & Justice Act 2006. The Key projects/activities: -

Develop an integrated community-based approach to enable people to start and live well (including development of the voluntary and community sector, implementation of our community development plans; and co-designing of a new model of service delivery to improve community wellbeing in Kingshurst) Safer Solihull – updates on, and the outcome from targeted partnership working. Delivering accelerated economic growth and inward investment – specifically, development of the arts and cultural offer and development of the Tourism offer (i.e. Destination Solihull and Tourism Action Plan. Development of a Borough wide Solihull on the Move programme that supports people across the Borough to be active. Solihull on the Move
