Purpose

To updated on the work to deliver the extended
early years and school wraparound offer

Decision

The Cabinet Member RESOLVED:
 
(i) 
To note the work being undertaken to implement the extended early
years and wraparound offer;
(ii) 
To approve the key principles outlined in paragraph 3.31 and 3.4 to
3.10 of appendix A, which have been used to develop the local
funding formula and derive the suggested funding rates as
recommended by School Forum;
(iii) 
To approve the funding rates as shown in paragraph 4.2 of Appendix
A, as recommended by School Forum;
(iv) 
To approve the receipt of grant funding as outline in paragraph
6.3.1; and
(v) 
To approve the use of the grant funding for
recruitment of 2 additional fixed term posts to the Early Years
Team in respect of business support to early years settings and
early years quality support.
