Purpose

To approve the refreshed strategy setting out
the Council's ambitions for tackling homelessness and rough
sleeping.

Decision

RESOLVED
The Cabinet Member for Housing approved the
following recommendations:
(i) 
Adoption and implementation of the
Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2024 – 2029 and the
associated delivery plan.
(ii) 
Acceptance of the HPG for 2024/25
from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
(DLUHC).
(iii) 
Delegate authority to the Director
of Economy and Infrastructure to accept any further top up funding
related to homelessness in 2024/25
