RESOLVED
The Cabinet Member for Communities and
Leisure:
(i) 
Endorsed the approach set out in the report to agree a new
financial arrangement with SLM understanding the need to improve
resilience and reduce financial risk on the contract, and in turn
risk to the services available.
(ii) 
Approved the fees and charges above RPI as highlighted in
‘Appendix A - Pricing Schedule 2024’, and in 4.7.
(iii) 
Approved the acceptance of Swimming Pool Support Fund Phase 1
Revenue grant of £467,279 awarded by Sport England on behalf
of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and to delegate
authority for this to authorised officers in line with the
conditions of funding.
(iv) 
Approved the submission of a bid for up to £1 million to
Sport England for Swimming Pool Support Fund Phase 2 Capital Grant
to support energy improvement measures at the two leisure centres
and, if successful, approve acceptance of the grant and delegate
authority for this to authorised officers in line with the
conditions of funding.
