The Executive:
1. Agreed to delegate authority to the
Director of Public Health to award the contract for the
Somerset-Wide Integrated Sexual Health Service to Somerset NHS
Foundation Trust through the Provider Selection Regime Direct Award
Process C. The new contract is for the two year period 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028, with
the option to extend for a further one
year 1 April 2028 to 31 March 2029, a total of three
years.
2. Approved the value of the two-year
contract at £4,434,382 (£2,217,191 per
annum),extending to £6,651,573 if
the third year is granted. This does not include any NHS pay award
uplifts, which will be funded dependent on this continuing to be
received in the Public Health Grant.
3. Agreed that Appendix A – PSR
Process C Evaluation Report should be treated in confidence on the
grounds that is contains exempt information relating to financial
or business affairs of the Council and that the public interest in
maintaining exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing
the information.
