Having been duly proposed and seconded, the
Executive Resolved to:-

1)   
Appoint the proposed supplier as outlined in the Confidential
Tender Evaluation Report at Appendix B to engage as the
Council’s Strategic Transformation Partner to work alongside
the Council to deliver the Inspiring Innovation Transformation
Plan.

2)   
Note the initial budget of the tendered price from the preferred
supplier as set out in Confidential Tender Evaluation Report
(Appendix B) and, agree to allocate up to £1.5m for this
initial phase of transformation activity from the Transformation
Budget.

3)   
Delegate authority to Executive Director Resources, Strategy and
Transformation in consultation with the Section 151 Officer and
Lead Member for Transformation, Human Resources and Localities to
finalise the terms of the contract for the Strategic Transformation
Partner.

4)   
Endorse the Somerset Council People Strategy 2025-28 (Appendix C)
that demonstrated the alignment with our overall Transformation
approach noting that approval of the People Strategy was a matter
for the HR Committee in October.

5)   
Consider the Corporate and Resources Scrutiny comments and
recommendations following their meetings on 30th July and 27th
August contained in paragraphs 30 and 32 of this report and to
report back to Corporate and Resources Scrutiny Committee on a
quarterly basis.
