Councillor Mike Rigby proposed the
recommendations, which were seconded by Councillor Liz Leyshon.
 
Having been duly proposed and seconded, the
Council Resolved to:-

a.   
endorse the conclusions of the Inspector’s Report into the
examination of the Mendip Local Plan Part II Limited Update and the
Main Modifications at Appendix 1.

b.   
agree to adopt the Mendip Local Plan Part II Limited Update with
the Main Modifications in Appendix 2 in line with the conclusions
of the examination Inspector.

c.    
agree to delegate responsibility to the Head of Planning in
consultation with the Executive Member for Economic Development,
Planning and Assets to make any minor amendments necessary to
publish the Local Plan Part II incorporating the Limited Update
policies with Additional Modifications.
