The Committee RESOLVED that officers and CDS
partners:
 

1.   
Provide division/parish?level data
identifying Somerset premises below 30 Mbps, including those
excluded from Airband and historic contracts.

2.   
Return to Scrutiny (or its successor committee) with updated data
following voucher scheme activity, Project Gigabit business case
outcomes, and BDUK funding decisions.

3.   
Include network resilience data for areas affected by recent
flooding, particularly where cables are submerged for extended
periods.

4.   
Support and reflect, in appropriate Council channels, the
Committee’s strong lobbying priorities, namely that
Government should:
·        
Unlock further Project Gigabit funding (beyond the £1.9bn
released).
·        
Extend the Gigabit Voucher Scheme beyond March 2028.
·        
Publish a national strategy for the “final 1%” of
very?hard?to?reach premises.
