The Committee considered a
report on the responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010,
namely scrutiny members duty to have Due Regard to the Public
Sector Equality Duty as part of their role as Scrutiny members.
 
The Committee:
 
1. 
Reconfirmed their commitment to equality Due Regard being part of
its Scrutiny function.
2. 
A briefing paper for scrutiny be provided and to support further
training opportunities that are provided for the delivery of this
commitment.
