Purpose

On 9
December 2024, Cllr Peter McDonald, Lead Cabinet Member for
Economic Development, and Cllr John Williams, Lead Cabinet Member
for Resources assessed the scoring matrix for the applications
received under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Small Business Grants
scheme.

Due to
the high level of applications received the twenty-two highest
scoring were recommended for approval, taking into consideration
the funding allocation available of £100,000 with the two
lowest scoring applications receiving a percentage of the grant
amount they requested.

One
successful applicant has since been withdrawn from the scheme
meaning that a small amount has become available for re
allocation.

After
consideration, Cllr Peter McDonald and Cllr John Williams agreed
that the two applications who only received a proportion of their
grant application should be funded with a top up to their full
original grant amount requested.

Therefore, they agreed:

Polly
Hart Photography, Cambourne – to receive a further
£1578 top up to the original grant of £2449.00 to award
the full original grant amount requested of
£4,027.00.

Pheonix
Clearance & Removals, Waterbeach – to receive a further
£1326.33 top up to the original grant of £3673.67 to
award the full original grant amount requested of
£5,000
