Purpose

The purpose of this
decision is to provide funding to Stapleford Community Primary
School to support a new phase of their community growing project.
The project will enhance two garden areas on the school grounds: an
Early Years sensory garden and a Year 4 & CARE garden. Funding
will be used to purchase items including raised beds, tools,
compost, seeds, plants, and a mini greenhouse to enable children to
grow fruit, vegetables, herbs, and pollinator-friendly flowers. The
produce will be used in educational activities and shared with
pupils, with updates shared via the PTA Facebook page and school
newsletters.
