Purpose

On 27 March 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee
reviewed all Community Chest applications received between
7 February 2025 and 11 March 2025.

 

Eight applications were brought forward in

‘Appendix A’
of the meeting reports pack.

 

After consideration of the application, the
Committee recommended to the Lead Cabinet Member for Resources
that:

 

1.    
Steeple Morden Bowls Club
(GWLKBMCG) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £1,694

 

2.    
Waterbeach and Landbeach Action For Youth
(WAY) (JXDDBWPW) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £2,000

 

3.    
Climbridge (SFTJSTNR) is not funded, but deferred- please see the ‘Other
options considered and reasons for rejection’
section.

 

4.    
Octagon Community Hub (XJQCCXTZ) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£2,000

 

5.    
Comberton Players (JXCJKCGF) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£1,974

 

6.    
Cottenham Village College
(PSWNZMHJ) is not funded, but deferred-
please see the ‘Other options considered and reasons for
rejection’ section.

 

7.    
Cambridgeshire Older People's Enterprise
(COPE) (VVZHFXHK)is not funded -please see the ‘Other options considered
and reasons for rejection’ section.

 

8.    
Reach Community Projects
(PBRTHKGK) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £2,000.
