Purpose
There
have been persistent reports of motorists behaving in an
inconsiderate and inappropriate manner when using this site. This
includes:
a)
Driving a motor vehicle at excessive
speeds
b)
Driving a motor vehicle causing unnecessary and/or
repeated acceleration and deceleration
c)
Performing stunts in or on a motor
vehicle
d)
Repeatedly or continuously revving the engine of a
motor vehicle unnecessarily while the vehicle is
stationary
e)
Unnecessarily sounding the horns
f)
Playing amplified music in or powered by a vehicle
which can be heard at the boundary of the PSPO, or which is likely
to cause a nuisance to others
g)
Vehicle racing
h)
Using threatening/abusive/intimidating language or
behaviour to other users of the park & ride.
These
activities not only represent a significant nuisance to those using
the site and/or others residing close by but also represents a
considerable safety risk to those using the site, including those
causing the disturbance.
