Purpose

The
purpose of this decision is to determine whether to launch a public
consultation in advance of the development of the 2026/27 Corporate
Action Plan and Budget. The Council annually sets a budget and
Corporate Action Plan setting out how progress towards the
council’s priorities will be achieved in the coming year. A
consultation on this topic would better enable the public to have a
say in the council’s plans for the forthcoming financial
year.

for Rejection: We value the views of our residents and want
residents’ views to be incorporated into the process of
planning and budget setting.
