Purpose
On 9
October 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed 21 Rural
England Prosperity Fund applications received. The applications
were brought forward in Appendix A of the
meeting reports pack. This notice provides details of the
decision regarding the Business applications.
After
consideration of these applications, the Committee agreed with the
officer’s recommendation and recommended to the Lead Cabinet
Members for Economic Development and Resources that the
applications from:
1.
The Sweetie Factory (QDMBJDFQ) be approved funded
£11,250.
2.
Cryptx Escape Rooms (JKDGDSKH) be approved funded
£17,000
3.
Willow Grange Farm (DBCZJLFJ) be approved funded
£25,000
4.
Chamber of Commerce (GSVCFDHB) to be approved funded
£12,540
5.
Hope CIC (TJFRBBZG) to be approved funding
£18,000
6.
Eastern Learning Alliance (NMPFCDHS) to be approved
funding £23,738
7.
Avenue Farm Food Park (BRHSWLPD) be
approved funded £49,500.

accept the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee (see
above).
Reasons for the decision
The
applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory
Committee, and the recommended levels of funding were within the
remaining budget. The Lead Cabinet Members for Economic Development
and Resources were also in agreement with the decision.
Alternative options considered
To
reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee
and decide on the level of funding (£0 - £50,000) to be
awarded for each or defer a decision if further information is
required from grant applicants.
