Purpose

On 30
October 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed all Community
Chest applications received between 8 September 2025 and 7 October
2025.
 
Four
applications were brought forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After
consideration of the application, the Committee recommended to the
Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
 

1.    
Waterbeach Military Heritage Museum (ZTQFLQZD) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £2,000
 

2.    
Foxton Preschool (MZJMSPFL) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £2,000
 

3.    
The Sixth Sense Collective (HDNXXSMB) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,568.38
 

4.    
Cambridge Women’s Rugby (NVZVRTZB) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £2,000.

Reasons for the decision

The
applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory
Committee and there is sufficient budget available.

Alternative options considered

To
reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee
and decide on the level of funding (£0 - £2,000) to be
awarded for each or defer a decision if further information is
required from grant applicants.
