Purpose

On 18
December 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed all Community
Chest applications received between 7 October 2025 and 27 November
2025.
 
Three
applications were brought forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After
consideration of the application, the Committee recommended to the
Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
 

1.    
Cambourne Shed (RJLTNNJR) be
approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£505.80
 

2.    
1st Cambourne Scout Group (NPZNMLFW) be approved and funded at the full amount
requested of £1,999.90
 

3.    
Foxton Gardens Association (ZGLCMXCB) be approved and funded at the full amount
requested of £2,000.

accept the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee (see
above).

Reasons for the decision

The
applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory
Committee and there is sufficient budget available.

Alternative options considered

To
reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee
and decide on the level of funding (£0 - £2,000) to be
awarded for each or defer a decision if further information is
required from grant applicants.
