Purpose

On the
14 October 2025, it was published that Cryptx Escape Rooms
(JKDGDSKH) had been awarded £17,000 in funding from the Rural
England Prosperity Fund. Decision

Applications.
 
Subsequently, Cryptx Escape Rooms have informed SCDC that they
can no longer accept the awarded funds.
 
As the
REPF grant scheme was oversubscribed, SCDC can reallocate the
funding. Since all applications were previously reviewed and
assessed against a scoring matrix and presented to
Grants Advisory Committee on the 9th October
2025.
 
The
next ranked applicant was Comberton Village College; however, the
grant applicant is no longer employed at the organisation, so SCDC
is unable to award this organisation.
 
Considering this, the funding will be allocated to Cambridge
Sports Lakes Trust (PRQHVLGV)
