Purpose

On 29 September 2023
the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed the Care Together Seed Fund
applications received between 7 August 2023 and 31 August 2023.
This is a one-off grant fund created using £21,000 of funding
provided to SCDC by Cambridgeshire County Council under grant
agreement.
 
Two applications were brought
forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After consideration of these
applications, the Committee recommended to the Lead Cabinet Member
for Resources that:
 
1.    
The Mordens & Litlington Mobile Warden Scheme
(MQPWCPRC) be approved
and funded at the full amount requested of £1,710

 
2.    
AGE UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
(VJBLXJZN) be approved
and funded at the full amount requested of £13,382 (for 11 schemes)
 
The
remaining unspent funds of £5,908 are
added to the 2024-25 SCDC Mobile Warden Scheme budget provided they
are used for expansion and promotion. This was at the request of
Cambridgeshire County Council
