Purpose
On 24 August 2023, the Grants Advisory Committee
reviewed the officer suggestions of the paper relating to grant
applications from the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise
Sector and Leisure Centre groups, offering physical activity
programmes to support people living with chronic long-term
conditions. This is following a report to Grant Advisory Committee
in May 2023. Following this, the lead member of resources provided
their recommendations.
The grant
scheme would support the ongoing delivery of physical activity
programmes for those living with chronic, long-term conditions
e.g. Parkinson’s, Cardiac, Stroke,
Cancer pre/rehabilitation and Type 2 Diabetes.
