Purpose

 
On 28
April 2023 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed all Community
Chest applications received between 13 March 2023 to 31 March
2023.
 
Eight
applications were brought forward.
 
After
consideration of these applications, the Committee recommended to
the Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
 
1.    
Girton Bowls Club (CXPPNTGX) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£865
2.    
Rampton Tea Club (GMCDSZFP) be
approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£1,000
3.    
Arts and Minds (ZBSPMKBS) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,951
4.    
Bar Hill Allotment Society (NQDSHFJQ)
be approved and funded at the full amount requested
of £500
5.    
Let's Run Girls Ltd
(MDSFPTQP) be approved
and funded at the full amount requested of £1,650
6.    
Meldreth Village Hall Trustees (DGWRPWMN) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £2,000
7.    
ECO Whittlesford (QLKLHMNT) be
approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£1,500
8.    
Fulbourn Forum (RGLSZDCB) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,000

of the Grants Advisory Committee (see above).
 

Reasons for the decision

The
applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory
Committee and there is sufficient budget available.

Alternative options considered

To reject or vary the
recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee and decide on the
level of funding (£0 - £2,000) to be awarded for each
or defer a decision if further information is required from grant
applicants.
