Purpose

On 27 June 2024 the Grants
Advisory Committee reviewed all Community Chest applications
received between 7 April 2024 and 7 June 2024.
 
Six applications were brought
forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After consideration of these
applications, the Committee recommended to the Lead Cabinet Member
for Resources that:
 
1.    
Gamlingay Leisure (Community Gym &
MUGA) (WRCVRSKT) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £1,750

 
2.    
Linton Village Cricket Club
(DDCXTMDV) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £2,000
 

 
3.    
The Cade Pavilion Management
Committee (JWCKZHLB) requesting
£2,000 is not funded -please see
the ‘Other options considered and reasons for
rejection’ section.

 
4.    
Weston Colville Reading Room and
Recreation Ground (BDZDXRRF) be approved and
funded at the full amount requested of £1870.60
 
5.    
Cambridge Online (HGLBVTBR) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£2,000
 
6.    
Cambourne Church (QDJLVXNV) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£1,200
