Standards Panel

Confidence in local democracy is paramount and can only be achieved when Councillors are seen to live up to the high standards the public expects.  The Council has a Standards Panel which has responsibility for dealing with standards issues and case-work.  The Panel is politically balanced and comprises of 7 members in total that are nominated at each Annual Council.
