Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel

The Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel is a joint committee formed by several local councils within the Thames Valley Police area. Its primary role is to scrutinise the work of the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner. The panel holds the Commissioner to account by reviewing their decisions and actions, and can make recommendations. It also has the power to veto the appointment of the Police and Crime Commissioner and to call the Commissioner to account for their performance.
