Purpose
An Interim Operations Lead for Bus Franchising is required to provide strategic leadership for the Operations and Safety workstream for the safe and resilient mobilisation and operation of franchised bus services, ensuring effective governance, assurance and continuous improvement, while coordinating key stakeholder and advising senior leadership on operational and risk management matters.
Decision
A 6-month fixed term position is required for this role to ensure continuity of operational leadership and maintain momentum across key mobilisation, operations, safety, resilience and assurance activities whilst a permanent recruitment process is undertaken. This role will also assist with responses to CQ’s and the evaluation and moderation of bidders’ operational and safety delivery plans as part of the bus franchising operator procurement process.
