The Cabinet considered a report
of the Executive Director (Children and Public Health) presenting
the School term and holiday dates for Community and Maintained
Schools for the academic year 2025/26.
 
Resolved:
 
That the school term and
holiday dates for 2025/26, as set out in Appendix 1 to the
submitted report, for LA maintained community schools and as a
guide to all schools in the city, be approved.
 
Reasons for
decision:
 
To approve the school term and
holiday dates for Community and Maintained schools and provide
consistency with neighbouring authorities, whilst remaining
compliant with legislation.
