Purpose

To enable Southend City Council to continue to
maintain its CCTV infrastructure to award to the preferred
supplier, outlined in the Confidential Part 2 Appendix, with a
contract length of 3 years with the option to extend for a further
2 years.
 
The above recommendation will not only ensure
that a compliant contract is in place but based on the options
explored in section 5 of this report, the proposed award also
demonstrates best value to the Council.
