Purpose

The Council has undertaken a tender exercise
in accordance with Public Contract Regulations 2015 for the
provision of Responsive Repairs and Maintenance to Public Buildings
and Local Authority Schools within the City of Southend-on-Sea (Lot
1) and the Coordination of Supply, Repairs and Installations of
Decking to Southend Pier (Lot 2) for the period 2025 to 2031. This
procurement is included in the Council’s Annual Procurement
Plan.

Content

1. Appoint Contractor No. 1,
subject to Standstill Period and satisfactory submission of
compliance documentation, to undertake the provision of Responsive
Repairs and Maintenance (Lot 1) across the Council’s
operational estate (exc. housing) for the period 2025 to
2031.
 
2. Appoint Contractor No. 1,
subject to Standstill Period and satisfactory submission of
compliance documentation, to undertake the Coordination of Supply,
Repairs and Installations of Decking to Southend Pier (Lot 2) for
the period 2025 to 2031.
