Purpose

Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI)
fund (£1.4M) has been granted to the Council by Government to
procure a partner who will deliver a residential electric charging
infrastructure throughout the city. The decision needed will be to
agree award for winning contractor.

To appoint the supplier for
Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project as detailed in the
confidential appendix.

Reasons for the decision

The proposed successful bidder
exceeds the council’s minimum project objectives and
aims.

Alternative options considered

Do not award the contract. If
the Council chose not to award the contract to the recommended
bidder there would be a number of consequences as set out in the
report.
