The Cabinet considered a report
of the Executive Director (Children and Public Health) presenting
the Annual Public Health Report 2024/25.
 
Resolved:
 
That the Annual Public Health
Report 2024/25, set out at Appendix 1 to the submitted report, be
noted.
 
Reasons for
decision:
 
The Council has a statutory
duty to protect the health of the local population. The 2024-25
Annual Public Health Report highlights some of the key issues and
proposed actions to address them for the people in
Southend. 
 
Other Options:
 
None. This matter is a
statutory duty of the Director of Public Health to prepare an
Annual Public Health Report.
