Policy.

Content

That the implementation of the
Allotment Policy as set out in Appendix 1 to the report, be
approved.

Reasons for the decision

The Allotment Policy sets out a formal
framework of principles to guide the management of allotments,
ensuring consistency and supporting informed decision-making. Once
this policy is approved, a long-term Allotment Strategy will be
developed. The strategy will outline how SCC allotments will evolve
and improve over time, focusing on a clear vision and key
priorities.

Alternative options considered

Do nothing. This will mean that a project has
been identified as a political priority by the joint administration
will not be delivered.  This means
allotment sites will continue to vary in quality, with some having
better facilities than others.
