The Cabinet decided to note the Local Government Association's Corporate Peer Challenge report and endorse the action plan responding to its recommendations on 17 January 2024. The Cabinet also decided to note the ongoing impact of the cost of living crisis and the council's approach to support residents in 2023/24, approve the new Southwark Cost of Living response, and delegate future amendments to the fund to the Strategic Director for Finance in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Communities, Democracy and Finance on 10 July 2023. The Strategic Director of Housing approved a variation to the works contract for the Tissington Court new homes scheme, increasing the total contract value by £767,841.32 to £14,227,628.01 on 15 May 2023. The Cabinet Member for Clean Air, Streets and Waste instructed officers to make the existing Traffic Management Order to extend the 'B' Controlled Parking Zone in the Nunhead area on 20 November 2024.
