The Cabinet decided to approve the procurement strategy for a school food procurement framework on 17 June 2024. This framework aims to improve the quality, value, and sustainability of school food in Southwark. The decision includes delegating the subsequent Gateway 2 decision to the Strategic Director for Children and Adult Services.

The Cabinet Member for Equalities, Democracy & Finance approved Southwark's contribution of £236,711 to the London Councils Grants Scheme for 2025/26 on 21 January 2025. This contribution supports pan-London initiatives tackling homelessness and sexual and domestic violence. The decision is subject to the council budget approval in February 2025.
