The Cabinet Member for Council Homes decided on 11/12/2024 to overhaul or remove the concessionary rate charge reduction for renting a council-owned garage. The scheme will be retained for blue badge holders for parking only, subject to means testing, and the concessionary rate for existing licensees will be reduced by £2.50 per year while closing the scheme to new applicants. The proposal to charge licensees for rent reminder letters was noted.
