• Tender LS0031 Kinver to Stourbridge local bus service 242,
including school transport service 242S. This is an existing route,
being re-tendered as current contract ends soon.
• Funding entirely from existing Staffordshire County Council
budget
• Contract is for 2 years.
• Tender was for 100% price.
• 4 bids were received: Carolean Coaches Ltd, Diamond Bus Ltd,
B P Brown Travel Ltd (t/a Select Bus) and West Midlands Travel Ltd.
The best value bid was from Diamond Buses Ltd.
• Diamond Bus bid was for £337566.00 over 600 operating
days and was awarded as best price bid.
