Content
Staffordshire County Council has purchased
Liquidlogic and ContrOCC as the new social care case management
system, which will modernise and integrate digital systems across
Children’s and Adults’ Social Care and Financial
Services.
The procurement of an implementation partner, with specialist
knowledge and experience of implementing Liquidlogic and ContrOCC
in numerous local authorities, will provide the Council with expert
support and allow implementation of the new systems within shorter
timescales than originally envisaged.
Alternative options considered
An alternative option considered was to
proceed with a minimum viable product (basic product) for go-live
in April 2027 for both adults’ and children’s social
care, that would continue to allow services to function safely with
additional functionality to drive efficiency following later in
2027. However, by introducing an implementation partner, the
authority can accelerate delivery and achieve a full-suite of
products at go-live within a shortened timeframe. This approach is
expected to enable earlier realisation of benefits, improve service
delivery, and mitigate the risks associated with an implementation
of this nature.
