The Area Committee has
given approval to an application received from Stockport and
District Society of Model Engineers Limited for a grant of
£1,500 (£500 from each ward allocation) from the Ward
Flexibility Fund towards the cost of purchasing replacement
batteries to power electric locomotives, provide lighting and small
power tools at the miniature railway, South Park, Cheadle
Hulme.
