The Area Committee
approved an application from Crazy Legs Event to repeat the
successful Stockport Trail Half Marathon event on greenspace along
Middlewood Way from a start point at Wood Lane car park, Marple on
Sunday, 23 February 2025 between 9.30am and 1.30pm with access
required from 7.00am to 2.30pm subject to the event organiser
obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2 weeks
prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health and
safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory
traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and
charges.
