The Cabinet Member for
Parks, Highways & Transport Services has considered a number of
objections received to the proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)
and establishment notices for the ITB2 Manchester Road, Cheadle
scheme, and has agreed that in the light of the objections, the
traffic calming feature and orders be made as advertised subject to
a minor amendment to the location of the proposed Toucan Crossing
and the reduction of the length of the controlled area (Zig Zag
markings) as shown on the plans attached to the report.

Alternative options considered

Several options were considered, but the
approved option was considered the best to deliver the objectives
of the scheme, whilst also considering comments received.
