The Cabinet Member for
Parks, Highways and Transport Services has given approval to the
legal advertisement of the following Moving Traffic Regulation
order (TRO) 20mph Speed Limit Order and the Statutory Legal Notices
required for Traffic Calming Measures and subject to the receipt of
no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the
subsequent making of the orders to be funded from the
Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement
(CRSTS) Integrated Transport Block fund:-

ITB - 20 mph Speed Limit - Westfield Drive Estate,
Woodley

Schedule of Speed
Limit Order (SLO)

20 mph Speed Limit Zone - for the following roads in both
directions for their entire lengths:

Ashdown Avenue,
Bowland Road,
Sherwood Road,
Savernake Road,
Needwood Road,
Delamere Close,
Charnwood Road,
Westfield Drive,
Northdown Avenue,
Clough Meadow,
Boundary Close.

Traffic Calming Notices - Speed Cushions of 75mm in high, 2550mm in
length and 1900mm in width on each side of the carriageway at the
following locations:

(1)  Westfield Drive: From a point 30
metres north-east of its intersection with the south-eastern kerb
line of Charnwood Road, in a north-easterly direction for
a distance of 2.6 metres.

(2)  Westfield Drive: From a point 13
metres north-east of its intersection with the north-eastern kerb
line of Northdown Avenue, in a north-easterly direction for
a distance of 2.6 metres.

(3) Westfield Drive: From a point 25 metres south-west of its
intersection with the south-western kerb line of Pennine Road, in a
south-westerly direction for a distance of
2.6 metres.
