The Executive Director
for Corporate & Support Services has considered a report
detailing the GM Live Well Implementation Fund that aimed to
support the local roll-out of the Live Well programme, with the
overarching goal of reducing health, social, and economic
inequalities across the sub-region. Each local authority has been
allocated a grant, proportionate to population and Stockport has
been allocated £1,028m.
The Executive Director for Corporate & Support Services has
then, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance &
Resources, given approval to the entering into a grant agreement
with GMCA for the Live Well Implementation Fund (LWIF) noting that
authority to distribute and allocate LWIF funding is delegated to
the Executive Director for Corporate & Support Services, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources and
with local Live Well partners.
