The Area Committee has
given approval to an application from the Cheadle Muslim
Association Welfare Trust to celebrate Eid in Bruntwood Park (in
the fields to the north-west beyond the main car park) on 26 or the
27 May 2026 (Date TBC due to Moon Cycle), subject to the event
organiser obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2
weeks prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health
and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory
traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and
charges.
