Purpose

This item provides an update about the
council’s strategic and systematic response to the
cost-of-living crisis.  It also details
our developing antipoverty approach which builds upon many years of
supporting residents in need of financial support and details the
Anti-Poverty Objectives 2024-2027 for approval by the Cabinet
Meeting.

The Cabinet has
considered a report outlining the proposed Anti-Poverty objectives
for 2024-2027 and has noted the contents of the report and approved
the proposed Anti-Poverty objectives for 2024-2027.
